Hi, I’m Harshida Jani (she/her), a Counseling Psychologist based in Mumbai, India.I believe therapy should feel like coming home to yourself. It’s a space where you can slow down, be honest with your thoughts and feelings, and explore your inner world with curiosity and care.To me, healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about noticing what’s present, understanding your patterns, and learning to respond to yourself with compassion instead of self-blame.You don’t have to show up as your best self here. You can show up exactly as you are: tired, confused, curious, or unsure. Together, we’ll create a space that feels safe and steady, where your emotions are understood, your experiences are acknowledged, and your inner voice is heard.This site is here to give you a sense of what therapy with me might feel like. Therapy with me is a collaborative journey. Together, we’ll slow down and pay attention to the patterns, thoughts, and emotions that shape your inner world, helping you understand what they reveal about your deeper needs.I aim to create a trauma-informed, queer-affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming space, one that is safe, inclusive, and respectful, so that every part of you can be seen and heard.Some days, our focus might be on exploring old wounds or relational patterns; other days, we might develop practical strategies to help you manage anxiety, regulate emotions, or communicate more clearly.I weave together Humanistic Therapy, CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Parts Work, Mindfulness, and Somatic Practices, creating a balance between reflection and real-world application that supports lasting growth.
Sessions with me are online, confidential, and 50 minutes long. You can join from any private space that feels right for you.We’ll decide together how often to meet. Some people prefer weekly sessions, while others find a different pace works better. Sessions can be conducted in English, Hindi, or Gujarati.My per session fee is ₹1000. If you’d like to commit to therapy for a few weeks at a time, I also offer discounted session packages to make that ongoing support more accessible.


Outside of therapy, I spend time on things that let me breathe and be fully present. Sometimes that means dancing like no one’s watching, wandering on a long walk, or singing along to old Hindi songs. Chai, laughter, meaningful conversations, and the occasional Bollywood rom-com are my little anchors.The mountains call to me too. Trekking gives me space to slow down, notice the world around me, and feel grounded long after I’m back home.These simple joys remind me that balance and healing don’t have to be complicated. It’s often in the small, everyday moments that we find calm, clarity, and connection.
